Now people that don't have a pandora's battery and you have a semi-brick today is you lucky day. Homebrew Developer, Hellcat, has just released an easier way to get out of semi-brick and install a fresh new CFW, 3.71 M33-4/4.01 M33-2 to be exact, without pandora's battery. Its called Recovery Flasher, all it requires is an EBOOT in the recovery folder and a EBOOT of the 3.71 M33/4.01 M33-2 firmware update. Turn on your PSP and hold down the R trigger, to enter the Recovery Menu and click the Run Program and BAM goodbye semi-bricks plus it's also an easy custom firmware install on your PSP without a pandora's battery.
This program has been tested by Hellcat to successfully flash a fresh 3.71-M33/4.01 M33 on the following setups:
3.02-OE *) on Fat PSP
3.40-OE via TimeMachine on Fat PSP
3.60-M33 via TimeMachine on Slim PSP
3.71-M33 on Fat and Slim PSP

Controls:
X - is basically the OK button. Just like in the regular PSP games.
While not playing a video
Select - chooses which site you want to see. Either from youtube, your favorites, or Veoh. It should be at the top left corner.
O - is used to show the typing Screen.
Triangle - is used to pop up a menu box on the right. Either to play the video, to save the video, or to save as. If you are in your favorites section then your choices are Play the video, or delete video from favorites.
X - is used to play the chosen video.
L Trigger - Go to the Previous Results page.
R Trigger - Go to the Next Results page.
While playing a video
SQUARE - used to search while vid is playing in the background.
O - to stop the video and go back to the search screen.
Triangle - used to get rid of the timer on the bottom left. Also if you keep pressing triangle it will also turn the screen off with the video still playing.
Select - used to select screen size.

Microsoft Paint For Sony PSP!!!
We've got good news coming for the guys who've got a taste for doodling on the go. PaintMIXER has been updated to version 2.4.0.
In case you weren't around during the previous release, this homebrew app enables you to draw and paint on your PSP using an interface very similar to MSPaint. Here are the changes that have been implemented in this new release:
* CPU Clock automatically set on 333 MHz
* Is now possible to change the picture's save name and the path save
* Fixed some bugs
In the meantime, Gefa recently posted a video demonstrating PaintMIXER v2.3.0. You might want to watch it in case you're wondering how the app works.

pspKaraoke
homebrew developer Hyve 647846 just came up with a PSP application that can let your PSP play MP3+G files, basically turning your handheld into a portable karaoke machine.
Dubbed pspKaraoke, this MP3+G player can let users change the background image by replacing the default BG.PNG file with an image of their choice (provided that it's in .PNG format, of course). Also, Hyve 647846 plans to add a slideshow feature in the future, that will run while the song is playing, just like most earlier karaoke machines.
Stumped on how to get this nifty program to work? Here's some useful tips quoted from the homebrew developer:
//The player will play songs from the MP3G folder. The songs have to be named m1.mp3, m2.mp3,
with a corresponding m1.cdg. The will be used as the song number.

Time Baby V12g: New sleep mode for MP3 player
This latest build will carry a new sleep mode for Time Baby's MP3 player. As Art elaborates via the application's changelog:
MP3 Player sleep mode implemented. PSP is suspended at the end of the playlist ready for the
alarm function to wake it up in the morning. Playlist is restarted on wake up, as well alarm sounding.
MP3 Player will stop current track in single track mode, or skip to next track in playlist mode
when the PSP is woken from suspend with the mp3 player active.
Implemented support for special config file that will cause the MP3 Player to be clocked at 333/333/166 MHz.
The second last byte can be changed to any value other than zero with a hex editor to use the fast CPU speed.
Pause button on the headphone remote will announce the time once when the track is paused.
Headphone remote can be plugged in at any time now the serial port is only activated in GPS time set mode.

USAGE
- Insert Memory Stick into the PSP
- Remove power cord and insert the JigKick Battery into the PSP.
- A menu appears when the PSP boots. Follow the onscreen information and instructions.
NOTES AND RESTRICTIONS
- The firmware in the Memory Stick is not a full 1.50, but a minimal subset. Therefore, not all applications (such as flashers, or recovery apps) will load.
- Only Memory Stick Pro Duo are compatible. Memory Stick Duo (e.g. 32MB sticks) are not supported.
- The IDStorage cannot be totally restored, as there is no known way to regenerate it properly.
- It is strongly RECOMMENDED to make a flash dump of the PSP before any downgrading operation.
- There might be a BSOD at the end of the downgrade. This is normal, and happens on the standard downgraders.
- All hardware revisions known at this day are supported.
- This release contains no Sony-copyrighted material. All required Sony data is generated from the v1.50 update files.

1. Downlod the Pandora Easy Installer and extract it to your PC. (you will have 2 folder and 1 exe file)
2. Connect the PSP to the PC with the Memory Stick inside via the USB Connection.
3. Open up "Run" from the "Start" and type in "cmd" (the Command window will open)
4. Go to "mspformat" and drag & drop the file "mspformat.exe" in the command window and type your PSP drive letter. (To format the MS)
*It should looks like "mspformat.exe X" (X is your PSP drive letter) -> Y to agree.
5. After formating -> Remove the Memory Stick and disable the USB connection.
6. Connect the Memory Stick again via the USB connection of the PSP.
7. Now run the file "Files for MS.exe" and choose your PSP drive letter. This will copy all the required files to the MS.
8. Open up again the "cmd" and go to the folder "msinst"
9. Drag & drop the file "msinst.exe" in the "command window" -> then type in your PSP drive letter -> then drag & drop the file "msipl.bin" and "ENTER". Agree with Y.
* It should look like "msinst.exe X msipl.bin" (X is your PSP drive letter)
10. After writing the IPL -> Remove the Memory Stick and disable the USB connection.
11. Go to the XMB and run the application "battery" on the PSP to modify the battery.
12. Congratulation, you are now in posession of a "Magic Memory Stick" and a "JigKick Battery".

- Create Dir and Copy Homebrews on MS.
- Run "installer" through the firmware on the PSP. This application will create the firmware files on the root of the Memory Stick, as well as msipl.bin.

Install: At Your Own Risk
Note: I have created the f0 folder for you.
0.Delete all previous DevHook from your PSP. Dont forget to uninstall the falsh1 configuration if you have previously installed a previous firmware.
1. Copy the folder "dh" and "PSP/GAME/%__SCE__DH052 & __SCE__DH052" to "ms0:/"
2. Run DevHook
3. Select "flash install" (uninstall the flash1 configuration if you have previously installed a previous firmware) and click install configuration to flash1 (first option). Hold "O" for a few seconds to confirm.
4. Select ?Firmware?
5. Select ?Firmware 3.03?
6. Select ?Start?
7. Reboot the PSP.
8. Load DevHook v0.52 again and start FW3.03.
9. It should say that the setup information is corrupt (BSoD), just press ?O? or ?Circle?
10. Reboot the PSP.
11. Load DevHook v0.52 again and start FW3.03, good luck!
I didnt installed or tested it on my psp, because i have 3.02 OE-B and it is enough and i dont need DevHook currently. I post this for those who have 1.5 or he wants DevHook on his psp!!!

Daxziso 0.62 Loader With All requiered Files & USB Package
This was my favorite All In One Loader. With this loader you can currently load all games on your 1.50. Games that requieres 2.00+ firmware and MPHGameLoder or Runumd(With ISO Supporting). You can load with the UMDEmu core Old-Games and the important thing his own format (DAX) Compressed-Games.
Now you can play games on your PSP from your computer via USB. Now the umdemu core can load the games that only worked with fastloader. And other few Bugs fixed.
Copy the folders DAXZISO & X & ISO to ms0:/(main-folder) in your MS. Then copy __SCE__DAXZISO & %__SCE__DAXZISO to ms0:/PSP/GAME/ to your MS. Put your iso games in the ISO folder. Start Daxziso from the Game Menu. You will see your isos in the list. Press square for settings for the game then start it.

3.50 Downgrader With All Needed Files You need!!
Here is a guide for downgrading any current PSP hardware version (TA-079 - TA-086) from firmware 2.81-3.50 to 1.50.
VERY IMPORTANT:
If you have a TA082+ motherboard and you downgrade to 1.50, currently you will be unable to upgrade to 3.30+ Sony firmware. This is due to Sony blocking updates when the PSP has been modified to run 1.50. There will be an application released later which will allow users to revert the changes. If you are using a TA082 motherboard then I would suggest just using 1.50 or OE until an application is released.
Requirements
------------
In order to downgrade a 3.50 PSP you will need the following:
- Original Lumines UMD (US or EU region)
- 3.50 Downgrader (In the Package)
- 1.50 Update (In the Package)
- 3.50 Update if you are on firmware 2.81 to 3.40 (In the Package)
The downgrader only works on Lumines, also known as Lumines Puzzle Fusion. It doesn't work for Lumines Plus, or Lumines 2.
Instructions: At Your Own Risk!!!

Here are the steps to downgrade any 3.50 PSP to 1.50:
1 - If you have a 3.50 PSP skip to step 6
2 - Download 3.50 update from here:
3 - Unzip and place the file in
4 - On the PSP, run the 3.50 update from the memory stick under the Game menu.
5 - Delete
6 - Copy the contents of the folder MS_ROOT from the 3.50 downgrader ZIP to the memory stick
7 - Unzip the 1.50 update to a temporary folder. Rename the EBOOT.PBP to UPDATE.PBP and copy it to
8 - Load Lumines and press x to start the game
9 - The screen will clear to black and fill with a light blue colour, then the PSP will reset itself
10 - Check that HEN is running by going to system settings, then to "System Information" and it should show up as system version 350 HEN
11 - If it is showing up as HEN then go to the memory stick and run the x.yz update
12 - If you have an unpatched TA-082 or higher motherboard, you will be prompted to allow the downgrader to patch your motherboard so it can be safely downgraded. The downgrader will not let you proceed without patching, if your motherboard requires it.
13 - Before the downgrader does anything to your PSP it will ask for you to agree to what it is doing, if you no longer want to continue press the Right Shoulder Button (R-TRIGGER).
14 - Once you have agreed to start the downgrade do not unplug the PSP, or try and restart it
15 - Once finished the PSP will ask you to press X, and reset itself
16 - If it comes up saying that the settings are corrupt, press x to continue, this will mean you will need to re-enter the settings for network connections into your PSP, otherwise go to step 18
17 - Load the included NetConfigBackup application in your PSP, and select to restore, this will take the backup that was done of the network config that was done automatically during the downgrade.
18 - All done now
Hopefully you now have a 1.50 PSP. Enjoy it responsibly.Troubleshooting

- If when trying to restore the network config using netconf backup you find that it gives you an error on the downgraded 1.50 PSP, try adding
a temporary network config, then deleting it and run the netconf backup again.
